After a crushing defeat in Game 1, the Memphis Grizzlies went back into the Oklahoma City gauntlet to face the Slim Reaper, Kevin Durant, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Memphis forward, Zach Randolph, helped lead the Grizzlies’ charge through overtime, eventually scoring the go ahead layup with 26 seconds left to put Memphis up by 2. Mike Conley helped the cause by recording a double-double with 19 points and 12 assists.
Oklahoma City all stars, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, had great games despite losing in overtime. Westbrook scored 29 points, however the OKC guard only scored on 11 of his 28 shots. Westbrook has had a terrible time behind the arch during the post-season, only making one out of his last eleven, 3-point attempts. The Thunder look to rebound in Game 3 when they travel to Memphis to continue the series. You can find Game 3 this Thursday at 8 pm (EST) on TNT
