This is outrageous

Getting tired of Beyonce? You’re in for a long weekend. Billboard just reported that upon releasing her new visual, self-titled album, Queen Bey has already sold 80,000 copies. While most artists might find that to be a respectable total for their entire first week, before you woke up to eat breakfast this morning, Bey was probably at 100k. Does anyone else think she could do a million in her first full week on the “shelves”? I wouldn’t put it past her.

Beyonce’s biggest first week ever came in 2006, when her sophomore effort, B’Day, sold 541,000 copies in its first week on the shelves, off the strength of her boisterous singles, “Deja Vu” and “Ring The Alarm”.
