Best Of Just Blaze Insert

In the late evening hours of this cold Wednesday in January, a timely (and very dope) compilation mix – properly titled Best Of Just Blaze: Behind The Beats – came to our attention.

The mix was done by Raleigh, North Carolina-based DJ Dave Dolla, and perfectly embodies and highlights all that’s golden about Just Blaze’s classic (and immediately identifiable) sound.

Word Is Bond Music, the crew that Dolla runs with (and iBreak Records – independent label that he’s signed to), releases compilation mixes like this one quite often, covering artists ranging from R. Kelly to Snoop Dogg and many in between. Be on the lookout for new mixes in the near future.

A happy 36th birthday to JB for sure, and a big shoutout to DJ Dave Dolla for the mix. Peep the mix below (which can be downloaded via the SoundCloud link as well as the link within the players description). Make sure you connect with both of them on all of their social networks.
