Let Me Explain
Kevin Hart turns all the way up to the top 10.

One of the most memorable quotations from Kevin Hart’s previous film, Laugh At My Pain was something to the effect of “everyone wants to be famous, but nobody wants to put in the work.”

One of our favorite funny men is living, breathing proof of hardwork paying off … in terms of both getting shine and monetary compensation.

Less than two years after the release of Laugh At My Pain, Hart hits us with Let Me Explain, which premiered on July 3rd – a date that contrary to popular belief was not Hart’s birthday.  Five days after the film’s release, the Domestic Home Box Office reported that the comedian’s latest concert film had already grossed roughly $17.4 million. It’s also worth noting that this sum came from only 876 theaters.

This number ranked Let Me Explain at number 8 on the charts within its opening weekend.

Oh, and just to clarify, Hart’s birthday was on the 6th. I’m sure he’s prolonged his celebratory festivities as a result of this awesome accomplishment.
