Check out the interview.

What made you join the show?

I feel like it was my time to get back into the spotlight and I just want people to see who I am. I have a lot of sisterhood in me and I have a pretty organic raw look at life.

How would you describe your personality in three words and why?

I’m a bit of a firecracker, I’m a giving person, I’m a mother now, and a people person. I love being around people.

How is the chemistry with you and the rest of the ladies and also the cast of R&B Divas LA?

I’ve met the ladies from R&B Divas LA and they were great. Doing reality tv is a new experience for me and let’s just say it’s a long ride. The women that I’m on the show with have taught me so much they some of the things that I’ve gone through.

Congratulations on being a new mother. Now that you’re a mother how do you balance motherhood & career?

When I first started filming the show, my daughter was only two months old and the scheduling was so crazy when it came to the show. Just day to day, I was able to manage. It’s just the mommy instincts in me.

I also asked Meelah this question, how do you feel about the nonprescence of girl groups today?

I think that we had an era and I think that being part of a girl group was one of the best experiences that ever happened to me. It worked out for me in the best possible way and I don’t take back anything from that. It makes me proud that I was part of that and I’m proud of them.

How do you feel about the new generation of singers?

I love music at the end of the day. The music industry has changed a lot since I first started. The music now is a lot more trendy and it’s different. I love and enjoy it now.

Would there ever be a Destiny’s Child with all four original members?

You know what only GOD knows that answer and I love all of those girls. Sky’s the limit and if the opportunity came around I would definitely do it.

Are you in the process of making new music?

I’m in process on if I want to make new music. I have been meeting with some producers about new music.
