Blogger, Karyn Washington, passed away at the age of 22 from an apparent suicide. She is the creator and founder of the website, For Brown Girls, that empowers young girls and created the project #DarkGirlsRedLips that encourages all women to rock red lipstick.
She created the hit website two years ago. She has suffered some hardships as she went through depression when her mother died and things went downhill from there. She was only 22 years old.
Since the news of her death, many supporters took to their social media as they tweeted out condolences to her family:
