fat belly, homeboy sandman, Paul White, stones throw, white sandsTrader Joe’s they cost the least, Whole Foods that’ll run you at least a nephew and a niece…”

Cure your 4/20 hangover and hit the buffet. Stones Throw‘s Homeboy Sandman just dropped the latest music video, Fat Belly (produced by Paul White), from his White Sands album. Sandman takes a page from fellow Stones Throw native, and crafts (and slays) an entire story-telling track about good food. Yup, food. Like I said, it’s 4/21 so I know you’re all still hungry from yesterday. Get some auditory grub while you’re at it.

“If you ain’t eating on falafel then you mental fam / that’s like tryna eat a pu**y with a dental dam…”

Homeboy Sandman is nothing new, as he’s been shape-shifting Hip Hop’s culture for years now, dropping science and non-stop narrative hits since he first arrived years ago. It still shockes me daily when I don’t see his music get the attention it deserves. If you interact with someone younger than yourself today, put them onto something new. Move the culture forward. Checkout his latest video below, grab the album, and find out why.

White Sands is Homeboy Sandman and Paul White’s third and final release in a series pairing the Queens MC with the vision of a single producer, following Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent with El Rntc, and All That I Hold Dear, with M Slago.

Video directed by Bunny Bread of Code Emphasis.
