Talia Cover Girl
Talia Castellano, the inspirational aspiring make-up artist died of cancer today.

Thirteen year-old Talia Castellano touched the lives of millions during her brief time on earth.

The aspiring professional make-up artist was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in 2007. She went into remission in 2008 for almost two years, but in 2010 her disease returned stronger than before, eventually spreading to her barrow.

Talia fell in love with the art of make-up when she was first diagnosed. She gradually became famous for her cosmetic tutorial YouTube videos, garnering hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of views.

One of Talia’s dreams was to meet Ellen DeGeneres; Ellen’s viewers who had been following Talia passed her story along to the talk-show host.

Ellen answered Talia’s prayers in September 2012, when she invited Talia on to her show to share her story with the world.

On the show, Ellen announced that Cover Girl had named Talia an honorary Cover Girl. The iconic make-up brand also donated $20,000 to the little girl, and gave her her very own professional make-up stand.

Despite battling her debilitating illness for almost half of her short life, she lived it in the highest of spirits, always wearing her gorgeous smile.

She will continue to inspire through her videos, and the memory of her beautiful spirit.
