“Are you not entertained?! Is this not why you are here?!”

Even if you’re not a big fan of MMA, I guarantee you’ll find some excitement in the Team Fighting Championships. The match basically consists of 5 jacked guys from two countries going head to head in a team free for all, giving and taking beatings from one opponent to the next. In short, it’s awesome. With 10 fighters and 5 referees, t’s very chaotic to watch if you don’t focus on one match.

These fighters are taking on 4 opponents, throwing random kicks and punches all while watching their backs at the same time. We don’t really see any holds or grappling so it’s definitely more of a aggressive sport than a tactical one. I’m very interested to see if it catches on. The video just recently came out, but has been going viral as of late. A big concern is arising regarding the fierceness of the sport and questions such as “When is enough brutality, enough?” are being raised.

Checkout the video below, “LPH” (Poznan, Poland) versus “Wisemen” (Gothenburg, Sweden). Who knew so much ass could be kicked n such a short video? Would you watch this event if it were on a national broadcast, similar to MMA?

Now, for me, regular MMA was cool for a while but eventually faded out when it became more of a fad to the general public than the gruesome sport it started out as. It’s still hardcore, don’t get me wrong, but today it’s not the same. Now, we have 5-on-5? That’s madness. It was only a matter of time.
