Yesterday morning, the world awoke to some troubling news that rocked us to our core, and shattered our basic fundamental beliefs. Justin Bieber also known as the Lord of the Beliebers, was arrested in Miami, Florida. Allegedly street drag racing, while under the influence, the young pop star is facing some serious repercussions.

Obviously, Twitter had a field day with this news; always vigilantly looking for some way to knock someone down or share unnecessary information with the world, followers everywhere had to share their two cents. Some were extremely hurt by his action, feeling it was betrayal to his loyal fans, while others laughed at his misery. We shared some of our favorite tweets, which were often hilarious.

However, it seems mainstream news also felt some type of way about the incident. MSNBC  were in the midst of a conversation with former congresswoman Jane Harman, about the NSA, which is pretty important topic—just not as life threatening as Bieber in handcuffs. Right in the middle of drop knowledge bombs all over host Andrea Mitchel‘s viewers’ head, the crew prompted the journalist to switch over to breaking news. The breaking news being, of course, Justin Biebers arrest…cause you know Tabloid fodder is actual news nowadays.  #sadface
