The parents of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin say they want justice for their son in the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman. A month before the case the parents told NBC they believed their son did nothing wrong on the night of the slaining and they don’t believe the story of George Zimmerman who said it was all in self defense.
They told NBC the following back in May
“We believe that Trayvon did nothing wrong, that he was just walking from the store,” Fulton said, referring to the convenience store the teen had visited before he was observed by Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch coordinator. “He wasn’t committing any crime. He wasn’t bothering anybody. He was minding his own business.”
To show support and wanting justice supporters have gone on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #blackout and reposting pictures of Travyon Martin with a hood.
