Watching porn on your laptop at work is bad. Watching porn on your laptop at work, while it’s connected to a jumbotron is really bad.
An IT worker in China found himself in a sticky situation (pun intended) when he accidentally streamed ten minutes of porn to hundreds of on-lookers standing outside of a train station in Jilin City. Yuan Mou was hired to repair the giant LED screen outside the station, which began having problems in mid-June. The difficult task eventually turned into a full-time job for Yaun, who decided to take up residence within the building while working on the repairs.
Sometime last week, after unwinding from a long day of work, Yuan decided to unwind with an adult flick. Yuan’s go-to pick? The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks on DVD. The technician popped the disc in his computer, completely forgetting it was still connected to the LED screen in the station. A few minutes later, Yuan got a horrifying call from his employer telling him that the porno was being broadcasted to hundreds of onlookers below. Yuan disconnected the computer immediately and attempted to discard the DVD, but there was no escaping the damage.
He was later taken into custody by police for questioning, where he confessed. It’s unclear at the moment if Yuan is even being charged with any sort of crime, but if he hasn’t died from embarrassment, then it’s safe to say he’s suffered enough.
