Anybody who collects comics knows the value of them. If they are in the right condition you can pretty much make decent amount of money off them. The original artwork is on a different level. The artist only draw them pages once so the value of it doubles, triples with time. Here it is the oldest surviving cover art from Superman comic in Action Comics #15 which is dated all the way back to 1939. The Fred Gaurdineer- drawn cover sold at auction recently for $286,800 which actually exceeded early estimates. Wow! It’s not $1 million or $2.6 million like the Action Comic #1 but it’s still a heavy cheque. Now don’t we all wish we kept our old comics?
