Oddly, he’s never actually told the story of his time spent on set with the Godfather of martial arts films… in English.
Chinese martial arts films are typically loaded with stuntmen, each looking to make their name in the film industry. It was very rare that the stuntmen actually get to interact with the feature film actors.
George Stroumboulopoulos is a Canadian television host that somehow managed to get the full story of how Jackie and Bruce Lee came to actually interact on set.
And it all started with Jackie jumping at Bruce from out of nowhere and taking a beating for it. Doing that takes some massive balls. Pretty sure you wouldn’t do it.
