Weird duo. But then again, its nothing new for ‘kiss.
If you’re reluctant to press play on this track let’s re-visit a couple things. Jadakiss‘ last studio album, The Last Kiss, which debuted at #3 on Billboard hitting a 135k first week mark in 2009, featured cameos from Jazmine Sullivan, Avery Storm and Bobby Valentino. Not to mention, the well-recieved first single, “By My Side”, featured a scene-stealing hook from Ne-Yo. So, before passing judgment, remember Jadakiss is historically deft at handling r&b collaborations, unlike the majority of artists who came up at the time he did.
Now, with his fourth studio album on the way, aptly titled Top Five, Dead Or Alive, courtesy of Def Jam, once again Jadakiss turns to one of R&B’s pioneers for assistance with his lead single. Who better than The Dream, who just released his 4th album, and is coming off of a rather decent performance at The Grammys. Seems like an appropriate launching pad, but tell us what you think about “Big Boy Dialogue”.
