This is rather epic.
This october will mark the 12th anniversary of Jam Master Jay‘s tragic murder, but today we have a breath of fresh air via another gentleman with the last name Mizell. TJ Mizell, son of Jason Mizell (Jam Master Jay) was feeling in a Jigga-y mood this week, when he crafted a portable DJ booth (complete with a serato) powered using a car battery and loaded it onto the J train in lower Manhattan. Mizell DJ’d a set that included vicious mash-ups of Jay Z‘s 2006 single “Show Me What You Got” and his more recent fan favorite “Tom Ford”, as the J train headed over the Williamsburg bridge into Brooklyn, towards the Marcy Avenue train stop in Brooklyn. Watch the video below of Mizell preparing his portable DJ booth, DJ’ing the set, catching every day train riders by surprise, and the end result.
