Jamie Lynn Sigler and Vanessa Lachey Game PlayKing, the maker of Candy Crush, launched a new game recently called Farm Heros Saga, which features the same playing concept with a twist.

They created a pop up shop in the middle of Flatiron Plaza with an organic theme. There was a Grow Your Own Cropsie class hosted by Twig and Rebecca Cole where they taught attendees how to grow a plant on their office desk. She included helpful tips for new growers such as adding a piece of terra cotta (essentially a broken flower pot) at the bottom of the flower pot to help drainage while maintaining dirt levels. For those unable to obtain terra cotta, she suggests alternatives such as packing peanuts and coffee filters.

The public was invited to attend and test the delicious juices provided by Heartbeet Juicery, while playing the game. The game is very similar to Candy Crush as you match three of a kind to earn points, but with added bonus powerups and cute characters. The replicas of the characters were scattered throughout the event site as well as two life sized characters roaming around the plaza to take photos with the visitors. The manicure station also offered manicures with nail decals in the form of the characters from the game. The characters include a sun, water droplet, apple, onion, strawberry, and a beet, which are all extremely friendly and cute.
