Jay Electronica says Kendrick’s verse is “good for rap music.”

It has been roughly 30 some odd hours since Kendrick Lamar spit a venomous verse on Big Sean’s “Control,” which has resulted in an all out frenzy. Since the song hit the internet twitter has been in shambles and rappers have been hitting the booth to respond. So far we have gotten responses from Joell Ortiz, B.o.B., Fred The Godson, and Los.

With all that being said because Kendrick has the highlighted verse we almost forgot that we have a Jay Electronica sighting on the song. After allowing the song to marinate for a day Jay Electronica steps back in to the public eye to speak on “Control.”

Here is what Jay Electronica said to Revolt TV:

“I like the song and the stir it’s causing. It’s good for rap music. A month or two ago, Big Sean asked me to be on this record with him for his album. He had a demo hook on it at the time. I did my verse and sent it back. I found out a couple days before it was released that Kendrick had put a verse on it. “

So how about that album Jay?
