Jay Z Bill Maher Jay Z sits down with Bill Maher moments after “Picasso Baby,” premiered on HBO

Bill Maher invited Jay Z to sit down minutes after the HBO premiere of his visuals to “Picasso Baby,” for his show Real Time with Bill Maher properly introduced Jay Z as “the business, man, not a businessman…who also dabbles in rap,” aka hip-hop’s ‘jack of all trades’ who answered questions about Magna Carta Holy Grail, comparing music to art, and the love-hate relationship he has with the most powerful drug in the world; fame.

When gay fashion designer Tom Ford was brought up, considering he’s the name of one of Jay’s track, Bill asked Jay what the reception would be like being “on his dick.”

Jay chuckled and simply replied, “pause.”

Bill also went on to bring up Harry Belafonte’s disgruntled opinion on Jay Z’s activity with helping out urban communities which HOV said could’ve been resolved with as little as a phone call. I guess communications between the two happened post-statement.

In seven years Jay Z will be eligible to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When asked who he would want to induct him, Jay responded, “Obama.” Then after Bill posed the question of whether the President of the United States would have time to do so Jay responded, “He [Obama] aight…he owes me.”
