Jermaine Dupri, Justin Bieber, AJ McLean, police profiling, Miami Beach PoliceJermaine Dupri defends J. Biebs; alleges Justin fell victim to police profiling.

Justin Bieber’s bad boy behavior doesn’t bode well for his public image, but it has gotten him a few celeb defenders.

Jermaine Dupri is the latest celeb to jump on the Bieber bandwagon, taking his place alongside A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys.

TMZ reports that the music mogul reasons that Miami Beach police were profiling Justin, just as they did to him back in December, when he and his team were pulled over by five squad cars and a K-9 unit.  Police claimed they smelled marijuana on him, but a search of his car turned up nothing.

Dupri says that it’s pretty normal for people to smoke weed in Miami clubs, so cops should know that anyone leaving the club is going to smell like they’ve been smoking.  He also says that cops know that when they pull people over after the club, “9 times out of 10, they’re gonna find something.”

While TMZ maintains that Bieber’s racing charges likely won’t stick because he wasn’t going that fast, Florida street racing laws don’t define racing based on the speeds that are hit.  Under Florida statutes, you could be going 30 mph and still be busted for racing.

Dupri says Justin is guilty of drawing attention to himself with the flashy canary yellow Lambo he was driving.

“He brought attention to himself with the car,” Dupri said.

I’ll let the armchair analysts do what they do on this one.
