Jordan Brand has now taken a serious step towards off-court footwear with their latest model, The Jordan Future.
While taking cues from what’s arguably the brand’s most successful silhouette, the Air Jordan XI, Jordan is headed to the future. The Jordan Future, which uses tooling from the XI surfaced about a week ago. Now, the company has officially released information about it’s upcoming release on March 15th ($185).
It will debut in two colors; “Infrared” and “Glow.” The upper of each sneaker hosts a black, woven streamline that also incorporates 3M material. However, the “Infrared” colorway’s sole is infrared, similar to the popular Black/Red sole of the “Playoff XI’s.” Unlike the latter, the red accent is not transparent. On the contrary, the “Glow” colorway adds a glow-in-the-dark feature to the sole in lieu of the infrared coloring. Both are neck-breaking in their own right. Check them out after the jump.
