It’s been a gruesome season for Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks, but in spite of the lackluster season that Melo has had, the Jordan brand takes us back to the good ol’ days of when a braided young Melo got drafted into the NBA as the 3rd overall pick for the Denver Nuggets.
In his first season of play the Jordan brand gave a young Melo his first signature shoe, the Melo 1.5, which came in a white and university blue colorway. It’s been already 10 years since Melo’s signature shoe and the Jordan brand has decided to rerelease the original black/university model of the Melo 1.5. The shoe will be available at Jordan Brand retailers and the Nike online shop January 4th. Will you be buying these rereleases? Let us know.
