Joseline Hernandez took a trip to her motherland recently to record “Mi Colta.”
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star seems to be trying to revive Spanish rap in the states. Hailing from the land that birthed reggaeton, Joseline Hernandez recently took a trip to Puerto Rico where she reportedly wed Stevie J. It seems that during the same trip, she also filmed visuals for a track on which she educates those uninformed on the street culture of Puerto Rico. The opening caption reads:
“As a kid growing up in Puerto Rico, I used to run on glass in the street because my mom couldn’t afford to buy me shoes. I’m glad those days are over.”
Joseline proceeds to take us on a tour of la calle (or “the street” en español) in Ponce, where she’s originally from.
Donovan “1TakeDON” Gold filmed and directed the vid.
