As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Black Album.
Its been five days since Jay Z‘s iconic The Black Album celebrated its 10th birthday, but excerpts from some of the guys behind-the-scenes of Hov’s biggest 2003 moments are still surfacing, this time courtesy of RevoltTV. The cameras hung out in the studio with Just Blaze as he demonstratively told the story of how “Public Service Announcement” came about: finding the sample during the album’s final mastermind sessions, having to track down Jay Z during the middle of his media blitz, and how quickly it became on of his biggest records, describing the scene at Madison Square Garden just weeks later.
