Its a celebration every time they link up (for now)
The Kanye West and Drake saga can be categorized as one of the more interesting narratives in rap, at least for the past decade, and this year its reached a very interesting plateau. Chalking up their strained communication lines to forced together rumors courtesy of the hip-hop blogs and social media, Drake and Kanye West united on stage together at Drake’s OVO Fest earlier this summer, and last night, Kanye West took it upon himself to thank Drake “the rap god” for coming out to the Yeezus show in Toronto.
After the show, the two headed to The Hoxton and partied together on stage, taking turns going wild to each other’s songs. Kanye particularly went crazy to “Headlines” and “Worst Behaviour”, before hanging from the rafters for a live rendition of his own “Blood On The Leaves”. It was a pretty wild moment, but two see two giants of the game candidly enjoying each other’s music is always refreshing. Check out some clips from the show/afterparty below.
