Yeezus just rose again.
It wouldn’t be a Kanye show without a rant. Or a speech, in this case. Kanye, with auto-tune in tow, spoke to his eager crowd at length about some of the issues that were on his mind for over 15 minutes touching on everything from his relationship with Kim Kardashian, the jokes about him written on late night talk-shows (specifically Saturday Night Live), the milestones his mother reached, Drake and Rolling Stone, and of course, the Nike Red October Air Yeezy 2′s that sold out in 11-minutes after Nike released them without warning last week.
In classic Yeezy fashion, West screamed about Mark Parker, Nike’s CEO, limiting his ability to create and make the Yeezys more available to the people, citing that as the main reason he chose Adidas for his his future fashion ventures. As far as Drake, ‘Ye side-stepped Drake’s jab at the lyrical content of West’s latest album, Yeezus, accrediting the controversy to magazine’s merely making feeble attempts at pitting rappers against each other. “We love Drake”, bellowed Kanye, much to the delight of the thousands of onlookers.
