Be creative, seriously.
If the phrases “How many, motherf*ckers you done seen”, “It’s been like that for a minute Hedi Slimane!”, or “What the f*ck does Lady Gaga know about cameras?” haven’t become a part of your daily, candid conversation, you’ve got work to do. In the 4 days since the first part of his now infamous interview with Zane Lowe was released to the internet, Kanye has quickly become the talk of the industry, which is impressive considering his stiff competition: the release of Drake‘s Nothing Was The Same and a Pusha T debut album campaign that is aggressively gaining traction. Highlighted by a spoof on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show that Kanye didn’t find much humor in, the Kanye West/Zane Lowe experience has a little of something for everybody, and today, its time to give back.
During part 1 of the interview, some of Kanye’s passion got loose, and it made for an extremely captivating interview snippet.
“Me and Virgil, are in Rome, giving designs to Fendi and getting our designs knocked down. Brought…brought the leather jogging pants six years ago to Fendi, and they said no. How many, motherf*ckers you done seen with leather jogging pants?”
We took a few minutes to break down that part of the interview, and another small part that followed, into still images, that not only tell the story of that small snippet, but will give you a gist of how the entire affair went. Share, discuss, add captions, whatever you’d like, but there’s no denying the entertainment value.
