We all should know who is KAWS, and if you don’t then your world is grey. The Brooklyn-based pop artist recently exhibited new art pieces for his solo show, “Pass the Blame” at the Galerie Perrotin gallery. The exhibition features paintings of familiar cartoon characters enhanced with KAWS’s drawing style. People from all over the world came out to support the artist on opening day including Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Mr. Brainwash and Cope2.
We gathered up some photos of what went on the night of the opening. You can also check out the signature giant companion sculptures at the Mary Boone gallery. The exhibition will be running through November 2 to December 21 at 909 Madison Avenue in New York City.
