Drake:Kendrick Feature

Kendrick Lamar reign of terror continues. After committing mass hip-hop genocide last month with his “Control” verse, the Compton rapper has been sitting back and watching numerous emcees–some mentioned, some not–try to respond. One of the biggest stars, whose name found its way on K. Dot’s  blacklist, was Drake. Instead of jumping on a track, the Toronto crooner decided to bring the fight to Billboard Magazine. Stating that “I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform.”

Well, Kendrick has something to say about that. During the Top Dawg Entertainment  Cypher for the BET Hip Hop Awards, shots were once again fired, directly at Drake. Kendrick rhymes “Nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/ And tucked the sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/Ha-ha, jokes on you/Hi-five, I’m bullet proof/ Your shits will never penetrate/ Pin the tail on the donkey, boy you been a fake.”

Of course, since he didn’t really mention Drake by name we might never know if this was dig at OVO. Yet, the “Nothing’s been the same” line leaves very little to the imagination. And his little smack at sensitive rappers can also be construed to as a way to get at Drizzy.

The full cypher hasn’t been released yet, but we can’t  wait to hear the full verse. Who knows who else will get shouted out during the four plus freestyles. Check out the clip below.
