Cali keeps it coming with the Kidd Upstairs

It’s a new year for Kidd Upstairs and he’s just getting started. The Kidd has been stacking up some regular performances including opening for Nipsey Hussle during his San Diego stop on his Crenshaw tour. After achieving some success with his mixtape KVSHMIR, the L.A rapper is back to make 2014 his breakthrough year. His next project on deck is DMNDS Deluxe.

“I coined the term DMND as an extension of the word dime,” Kidd explains. “It’s the highest quality of woman that exists, beautiful in both appearance and psyche, independent and not easily accessible. Rarely flawless yet always unique, I wanted to chronicle this breed of women that deserve to be highlighted separate from the usual hoes and bitches rap references.”
