King Louie–one of the two rap features on Yeezus, Chicago’s Drill scene leader–dropped his new mixtape, Jeep Music, yesterday. Between him and Action Bronson, it seems that the American SUV is making a heavy comeback, back to its hip hop/urban music heyday, when R.Kelly’s girl reminded him of one.
Louie gives fans twelve new tracks to bump to, his first complete and cohesive project since last years Drilluminati. Fans don’t fret, his bandz and loud packs are still present; as well as his impressive ability to rack up clever bars that keep both topics interesting. The mixtape is chock full of great quotable, including my personal favorite: Niggas act like Bitches/I got Bitches for my bitches/I got no time for these hoes.
He calls himself the “Jay Z of Chicago,” check out the mixtape above to see if he is telling the truth.
