Gaga admitted to being bankrupt during her Monster’s Ball Tour in 2009.
The 27-year-old New York native reveals some shocking news in a sneak peek clip for her upcoming EPIX original documentary Who the F–k is Arthur Fogel? Gaga admitted that the $3 million dollars she had left in her bank account was all used to make her stage during her “Monster’s Ball” Tour in 2009. But little did her family and fans know, the “Poker Face” singer had a plan.
Gaga is especially known for her crazy and bizarre costumes and amazing stage presence. Her intentions were to gain the attention of Arthur Fogel, the chairman of Live Nation’s global touring division. And Gaga did just that. Fogel approached the singer with a deal that would surpass that $3 million by a long shot. Live Nation presented Gaga with a $40 million dollar check.
“It changed my life and the life of my whole family,” Gaga said. Who the F–k is Arthur Fogel? will premiere on EPIX on March 19.
