Halloween has passed but the little monsters still remain at the “Art Pop” show, where Alexander McQueen‘s boutique shop used to be. As soon as you get to the store front you already get warped into the crazy world of Lady Gaga. The show was located in the heart of the Meatpacking District and many fans came to support.
The “ArtPop” show featured a lot of Gaga’s strange outfits, voguing station and raunchy photos which were created by artist, Jeff Koons. Koons is an American artist who is known for his reproductions of banal objects. His famous “Tulips” sculpture was worth $33,682,500 and made him a staple in the art culture. For the pop-up show, Jeff Koons created a sculpture of Lady Gaga which is featured on her album cover that debuted yesterday.
In the mist of the computer chair design and song quotes on the walls, lays a mini merchandise shop where her albums and T-shirts were sold. People were confused to if they have attended a art show or just a very cool store. The show will run until November 12.
