Blake Griffin, Clippers, Los Angeles, NBA, All StarDunk CITY vs The Heatles.

Rumors of LeBron James leaving Miami and possibly landing in Los Angeles (no, not the Lakers) after this season have been flying around all week. In the highly anticipated match-up at Staples Center last night, James and Blake Griffin put on one of the best shows we’ve seen all season. The home team took a loss but fans in attendance got a treat in the Miami Heat’s 116-112 victory over the Clippers in a high-flying showdown.

Griffin finished with a game-high 43 points, 15 rebounds and six assists as he delivered dunk after dunk against a Heat team with a limited post presence. James finished the game with 31 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds, and most importantly the win. The two superstars dominated the game and it was clear who the most talented players in the gym were last night.

James attacked in transition, found his teammates for dunks of their own and threw in a few three pointers for good measure. Griffin knocked down a three of his own but most of his points were earned throwing down unbelievable alley-oops and slam dunks in traffic. The Clippers rallied from a 19 point deficit and the Heat closed out the game in the final minutes, making the game one of the most memorable of the season. Throw in a healthy Chris Paul in June and we wouldn’t mind seeing a Clippers-Heat NBA Finals match-up.
