With great power comes great responsibility, being the cover man for next year’s NBA 2k game has given LeBron James a certain privilege. LeBron James will have the opportunity to choose the soundtrack for NBA 2k14. James will have some tough shoes to fill in regards to song choice because Jay-Z had picked last year’s soundtrack.

This is what James had to say about being the music curator; “2K is letting me take control of some important elements in NBA 2K14, including this year’s soundtrack. I love that I’m the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack.”

According to ESPN the soundtrack includes ‘Get Lucky’ by Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell, ‘Started From The Bottom’ by Drake, ‘Can’t Hold Us’ by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Ft. Ray Dalton, and ‘In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins. Other artists include Jay-Z, Coldplay, Kanye West, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, Nas, Eminem, The Black Keys, Fly Union, Imagine Dragons, Jadakiss, and Gorillaz.

For someone who is under the microscope at all times LeBron better be 100% confident in his taste in music.
