I can teach you how to speak my language, Rosetta stone.
You may recognize those lyrics but it’s okay if you don’t, you probably just need to hear the song again. After all, it has been four years since the tune was first released. But as soon as the beat drops I’m sure you will recall Drake spitting that bar on his 2010 single “Over,” off of his debut studio album Thank Me Later. And in case you didn’t believe his words then, you will now. The 2014 Grammy nominee links up with Romeo Santos and adds a verse to the former Aventura lead singer’s new single “Odio,” an offering that will appear on his forthcoming album Formula, Vol. 2. While the collaboration here may seem a bit unusual, Drake makes it work, and that’s not surprising. To jog your memory again, you may recall him reciting the lyrics “Spanish girls love me like I’m Aventura,” on his verse to label mate Tyga’s “Rack City Remix” featuring Lil Wayne. Perhaps Drizzy has been prepping for this moment all along. Check out the song here.
