“They say I’m sick, I’m lookin’ pale, well that’s just my pigment”

This past Sunday night, during a very quick commercial during MTV’s VMAs, a commercial aired announcing the sequel to Eminem‘s classic 2000 The Marshall Mathers LP album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, would be released on November 5th of this year, featuring executive production from none other than Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin. A commercial following that one would be a Beats By Dre spot, the soundtrack to which was a preview of Em’s lead single from the album, “Berzerk”. Last night, just after 10pm, Interscope liberated one of the biggest lead singles of the year, which sounds like a mash-up of Jay Z‘s “99 Problems” and numerous cuts from the Beastie Boys catalog. Add Detroit’s greatest spitkicker’s vacillating flows into the mix, and you have the first leak from the album. Thoughts? Enjoy.
