These two are still making music, which is good

Gucci Mane reared Young Thug–his latest, critically acclaimed mixtape, was actually named after Gucci’s record label (1017 Thug), and it was Thug’s appearances on Gucci’s Lean, Molly, Gas mixtape trilogy that propelled Young Thug to recognition–and now that Thug has his own record deal, and his own spotlight, their new collaboration, “Hot Boys Intro”, is everything one could hope for. The instrumental is a slight stray from the grungy trap beats both Gucci and Thugger are accustomed to rapping on, but it leaves just enough room for the flows of each artist–which are often overlooked and underrated–to flourish. Listen to the new track below, and expect a joint project from these two, rumored to be titled Young Thugga Mane LaFlare, to be released this year.
