Justin Timberlake throws down on this one.
Jay-Z and JT reflect on love and fame for “Holy Grail,” the first single to drop since Magna Carta…Holy Grail was announced. The track leads with strong vocals from JT where’s he’s belting out his feelings towards love. While most say he’s referencing a past love, it could also stand as a metaphor for his career in the limelight.
Jay comes in after and gives his take on the gift and the curse. While the road may have been rough for a lot of celebrities, there’s always a reason to appreciate it.
During his second verse, he raps “You still alive, still that nxgga/ Nxgga you survived, still getting bigger.”
Time’s been on Jay’s side.
