Ma$e announced a couple months ago his new album, Now We Even, and finally we’ve received some new music from the Harlem rapper. “Why Can’t We”, featuring R&B companion HER, may serve as the first single from the upcoming LP. After stints with G-Unit and a possible signing to G.O.O.D. Music consistently swirling the rumor mill, it appeared the artist formerly known as Murda Ma$e was on a paved road to a high-powered comeback. However, G-Unit disbanded, Kanye consistently supports Mase but hasn’t officially signed him, Ma$e himself has a tendency to go missing shortly after surfacing seemingly for good.

Drake has shown interest in inking the vet to his OVO Sound/Warner Bros label, and while that remains to be seen, Ma$e still has the signature flow that made “Feel So Good” and “Mo Money, Mo Problems” worldwide, classic hits, and while the song could use some polishing, its a solid foundation to hinge a comeback on.
