Tip’s been kinda quiet lately

Late last year, T.I. made a pretty big career move, leaving his longtime home of Atlantic Records–on which he’s released five platinum albums–and signing a record deal over at Columbia Records after persuasion from his good friend and frequent collaborator, Pharrell. It was then announced that Pharrell and Timbaland would be co-producing T.I.’s new album–his first since 2012–Paperwork: The Motion Picture, but since then, no new music has been released from the ATLien.

As a tease, the Grand Hustle boss added a verse to Wiz Khalifa‘s infectious Blacc Hollywood single, and if this is an indication of what’s to come, whatever’s coming better come fast.
