Coaching vacancy in L.A.
After an underwhelming playoff performance the Los Angeles Clippers have decided to fire their Head Coach Vinny Del Negro. The Clippers were bounced out of the first round by the Memphis Grizzlies after posting a team record 56 wins. This firing is no surprise to anyone as a team as good as the Clippers should have made a deeper run in the playoffs. In Del Negro’s three seasons with the team his record was 128-102, the Clippers made the playoffs twice out of those three years.
For replacements the Clippers are currently looking at Indiana Associate Head Coach Brian Shaw, Golden State’s Assistant Coach Mike Malone, former Cavs Head Coach Byron Scott, and former Suns Head Coach Alvin Gentry.
