Well, Louisville just lost a recruit
Next season, the Louisville Cardinals football team was supposed to be receiving a great recruit to come in and dominate for the 2014-2015 season. Looks like that ship has crashed and burned.
Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammad was the 37th ranked linebacker who signed with the Cardinals despite drawing interest from Mizzou and the Crimson Tide. But with one bad decision, Sharieff wont be a Cardinal or even play college football for that matter.
Making headline news, Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammed was arrested for impregnating his 14-year old cousin.
According to police reports, he began to touch her in the summer of 2010. The victim also stated that “It just happened” and he didn’t force her to have sexual activity.
According to Florida law, he can face up to 15 years in jail with a maximum $10,000 fine. Coach Petrino of Louisville has not shared a comment yet, but his high school coach has stated:
“It’s all kind of a shock at the moment”
Judging by the comment of his high school coach, nobody saw this coming. No other details have been released, so we will just have to wait to see how the rest of the story will unfold.
