StarWarsposter

Way back when George Lucas introduced the world to “Star Wars”, and with the introduction he brought us the world of Tatooine. Fast forward 36 years later, the set of Tatooine is still intact in the deserts of Tunisia.

Ra di Martino, a visual artist and filmmaker, has gone out and taken some updated pictures of the old school “Star Wars” film set, and calling the series of pictures “No More Stars” and “Every World’s A Stage.”. The filmmaker found the abandoned movie set by using a Google Earth tourist photo and decided to take a trek to Africa to visit.

According to Ra di Martino, the movie set was literally in the middle of no where, which would make sense why the set was left virtually untouched for 36 years.  Here’s a look at how Luke Skywalker’s home looks today.
