Chicago culture has inundated almost every facet of hip hop today; from the dark synthesizer chords, typically heard in Drill music, to the slang that has slowly found its way into everyone’s speech.  ”Thot” is easily the most salient, as seen in the multiple articles written about the word and the excessive amount of twitter memes, created on the daily. One of the Second City’s major stars, Lupe Fiasco, has decided to put the word to use in his lyrical style, on his new leak “Thot 97″. Rapping over Que’s ”OG Bobby Johnson” beat, Fiasco goes after all of his doubters and non-believers. He holds nothing back, making sure that nobody forgets that he “was in the trap, watching 9/11″. His frequent shout-outs to Fahrenheit  mixtape series, which was amazing.
