Is it Mac Miller, Larry Fisherman, or Delusional Thomas? It really doesn’t matter what his name is, as long as he is out there doing his wild thing, you can be sure quality music is going to be blaring in your ears. On his latest cut, “Amen,” he dons his producer alias, Larry Fisherman, and decides to sit this one out behind the boards. However, he doesn’t leave his listeners high and dry, bringing together a solid group of emcees to demolish his dark, lo-fi sinister beat.
Dash, Ab-Soul, Vince Staples, and Retch all take turns dismantling Fisherman’s work, trading impressive verses filled with weighty one-liners. The way that Mac is able to harness his guests’ best work onto one single track is amazing, and his backing production is consistently spot on. Ab and Vince both spit heavy bars that will get you excited about their upcoming project. Check it out below.
