Mac Miller discusses a few tracks from his latest album Watch Movies With The Sound Off, Loaded Lux’s diss, Jay Electronica’s feature and more.
During a sit down with HardKnock tv, Mac Miller got the chance to address the Loaded Lux diss at the end of “Red Dot Music,” admitting that “[Lux] ethered me, he f*cking ethered me.”
Mac then discussed the shockingly simple details of how he got Jay Electronica to drop a verse on “Suplexes Inside of Complexes and Duplexes.”
“I was like ‘you wanna do a record? and he was like ‘yeah.’”
He then credits Jay Electronica as one of his favorite rappers and highlights the fact that his verse didn’t talk about his album, or what he was doing, but focused on female characters in the classic “The Wizard Of Oz.”
Mac continues to address the perception of his music, as well as his video to the album’s self-titled single music video to “Watching Movies,” it’s religious representation to others, and more.
