The success continues on for Macklemore x Ryan Lewis as their second single “Can’t Hold Us” reaches number one.

It seems nothing will hold Macklemore and Ryan Lewis down from reaching the top. The duo’s second single “Can’t Hold Us” featuring Ray Dalton off their studio debut album ‘The Heist,’ has reached the top spot on the Billboard charts shortly after being certified platinum. This achievement is a huge milestone in their career as it marks them as the first duo in over five decades to have their first two singles reach the top spot.

‘The Heist,’ currently certified Gold, has created an unbelievable wave of success with “Thrift Shop” nearing 6 times platinum and all the recent momentum surrounding “Can’t Hold Us.”
