Marc Jacobs plans on opening a pop-up shop during NYFW where not paying in money is an option. All the transactions will be based on customer’s use of the hashtag #MJDaisy on their personal social media platforms.
The shop is meant to be social media driven with features such as a lounge with food, drinks and accessible Wi-Fi. The launch will be accompanied with a new campaign for Daisy. The store will have Daisy-themed artwork from Langley Fox Hemingway with a live a Daisy booth.
Gifts and accessories will be given away based on the social impact on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook posts during the store’s opening. Music will spun by in-house DJ Jilly Hendrix with fragrance samples and accessories. It opens on February 7- February 9, with opening times of 11 AM to 7 p.m. at 462 West Broadway in SoHo.
