OSU’s star player makes a Smart move
Last year Marcus Smart surprised everyone by saying that he would be returning to Oklahoma State for his sophomore basketball season. This week Smart participated in USA basketball’s minicamp where he was the only collegiate player there. Following the camp Smart decided that this would be his last year at OSU.
Smart told this to Yahoo! Sports after Tuesday’s practice; “It’s safe to say that if, by the grace of God, I’m healthy and everything, this will be my last year at Oklahoma State.”
Smart posted 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists a game for the Cowboys last season. He was expected to be a top-5 pick in this year’s draft and will be expected to be in the top 5 again this year.
